“The Love Match” is a modern-day comedy of manners set in New Jersey’s Bangladeshi community

Sometimes a sweet rom-com on a wintry day is just what you need to feel like all is well in the world. That was the feeling we got while reading Priyanka Taslim's lovely debut novel "The Love Match," which hit stores earlier this month.

In addition to being a fun novel about a Bangladeshi American teen who is torn between her dreams of being a novelist and some very adult responsibilities at home, "The Love Match" is also an ode to New Jersey's burgeoning Bengali communities and their culture and traditions.
