It’s no secret that we’re big fans of actress Parminder Nagra, who first burst onto the scene with her star turn in Gurinder Chadha’s much beloved film “Bend It Like Beckham”.

It’s also no secret that both of your correspondents have a soft spot for police procedural dramas that feature strong female protagonists at a crossroads. Naturally, when we heard that Nagra would be starring in her own police procedural, we knew we had to watch it immediately.
